The Atlanta Hawks have received permission to interview Warriors assistant general manager Travis Schlenk for their front office search, sources have confirmed with The Chronicle.
Schlenk has been Golden State’s assistant GM for the past five seasons. In that span, he has helped general manager Bob Myers build teams that won the 2015 NBA title and a combined 207 games over the past three seasons.
Before being promoted to his current position, Schlenk served two seasons as the Warriors’ director of player personnel. He has also been an assistant coach and video scout for Golden State.
