CLEVELAND — People remember the blown 3-1 series lead last season, but they often forget the one Golden State loss that came before the three straight to end it.
The Warriors were up 2-0 comfortably heading to Cleveland after two blowout wins, just like this year. Then they were blasted 120-90. Cleveland gained an early bit of belief.
“It wasn’t close,” Steve Kerr said. “And I thought that gave them confidence, gave their crowd confidence.”
This year, the Warriors hope to avoid shoveling a bit of momentum back toward the Cavaliers. Tip is at 9 p.
