The unsolvable debate over whether the Warriors could beat the ``Showtime'' Lakers of Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has another entrant.
This time it's the Shaquille O'Neal-Kobe Bryant Lakers, and the big guy, naturally, is siding with Los Angeles, the Associated Press reported. The 2001 Lakers won 56 regular-season games, two fewer than San Antonio in the Western Conference, but were untouchable in the playoffs. Los Angeles swept Portland (3-0), Sacramento (3-0), the Spurs (4-0) and then breezed in the NBA Finals to a 4-1 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.In all, the Lakers were an NBA record 15-1 in the playoffs.
