Andrew Bogut’s back will need to be monitored all season

BROOKYLN — Andrew Bogut had taken only a couple of steps out of the locker room on his way to the practice floor before the game Sunday afternoon when he stopped and vigorously rotated his upper body in an effort try to loosen his back.

The Warriors’ center found enough relief to play against the Nets about 75 minutes later, but he knows his lower back issues, which are causing spasms, will need to be monitored throughout the season.

“It’s more annoying than anything,” Bogut said. “…The issue is: If you push it, (the pain) comes back at 100 percent, and you’re back at square one.
