The Golden State Warriors are a perfect 3-0 to start the 2014-15 NBA season, and that's without the scoring and rebounding presence that injured power forward David Lee brings to the table.
Lee strained his left hamstring in the Warriors' last preseason game, keeping him out of action for all three of the team's games so far this campaign. As it appears, Lee is bow looking to Wednesday's Pacific Division tilt against the Los Angeles Clippers as the time to make his season debut.

He had debilitating pain until Saturday, when he first was able to start pushing off the leg and run closer to full speed. If practice goes according to play Monday and Tuesday, he’ll start Wednesday night at Oracle Arena.
Without Lee, the Warriors’ starting lineup has gotten off to slow starts — missing his ability to score and pass off the block. The Warriors have also been beaten 32-19 on the offensive glass in Lee’s absence.
Still, the Warriors want to be cautious with Lee, because hamstring injuries have a tendency to worsen if pushed. As bad as he wants to play, Lee said, “I know this is the third game of 82.”
With Lee sidelined, new Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has turned to the smaller Draymond Green at the power forward slot. Getting Lee back will give them that size again along with providing a true scoring threat roaming around the paint.
