Brantley was expected to be a Day 2 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, but this incident will surely have a major negative impact on his draft stock. He was projected to be the picked by the Detroit Lions in the second round (No. 53 overall) in Chat Sports' latest mock draft.
Charges were not originally filed after the incident, as the victim didn't come forward at the time.
Brantley, who left Florida after his junior season, recorded 31 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks in 2016.
