In Pistons rumors tonight, one of the biggest decisions for the Detroit Pistons this offseason will most likely be what the team decides to do with Greg Monroe.
Per David Mayo of MLive.com, "The biggest personnel decision figures to involve Monroe, who made just more than $5 million this year, and figures to see that more than doubled in free agency, though the Pistons can match any offer."
"If Monroe receives an offer the Pistons deem excessive, they must try to muster and sign-and-trade deal with another team, or let him go without compensation."
While Mayo admits that the Detroit Pistons would probably go with the latter in this situation, a sign-and-trade for Greg Monroe could open up some possibilities for the Detroit Pistons either through the draft or via player-for-player trade.
Yet, this is all hypothetical and contingent upon how valuable the Pistons think Greg Monroe is from a dollars and cents perspective.
