The Detroit Pistons and head coach/president of basketball operations Stan Van Gundy are in the market for a wing in the 2015 NBA Draft, with Arizona's Stanley Johnson a potential fit for the franchise when they hit the clock at #8 on June 25th.
Per Sam Vecenie of CBS Sports:
Johnson would be a pretty perfect fit for what the Pistons want to do and what Van Gundy likes from a wing. He can really get out in transition, can handle the ball, and really can lock down and defend when he is engaged. He needs to improve his outside shot a little bit, but if he can do that, he would have borderline all-star two-way potential. He'd be a good value pick, with the added benefit of fitting in to a system.
Other names mentioned by Vecenie as options at #8 were Duke's Justise Winslow, international standout Mario Henzonja, Kansas' Kelly Oubre and lifelong Pistons fan Devin Booker out of Kentucky.
