Football is a violent game, and Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders learned that lesson the hard way against the St. Louis Rams today.
Sanders was diving for a potential catch when he was laid out by Rams safety Rodney McLeod, Jr., in what will probably go down as the hit of the year.
BOOM!!!
McLeod was called for a helmet-to-helmet hit on the play, but replays show it was a clean hit with shoulder-to-shoulder contact. Sanders left the game and was evaluated for a concussion.
