The Dallas Cowboys struggled on both sides of the football against the Los Angles Chargers on Thanksgiving, losing 28-6. Philip Rivers totally exposed the Cowboys defense throwing for 434 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions and Keenan Allen also helped embarrass the Cowboys secondary with 11 receptions for 172 yards and one touchdown. The Cowboys haven't scored double-digit points now in three straight games leaving Cowboys fans wondering how is this even possible. Well, Cowboys fans I will give you three things that I learned in this loss to the Chargers and it's the reason why the Cowboys aren't winning games.

The Cowboys Miss Sean Lee
The Cowboys defense without their captain Sean Lee is a total dumpster fire. The Cowboys have been without Lee for five games and in those five games the Cowboys are giving up 33 points per game. Lee is the quarterback of this defense and without him expect the Cowboys to continue to struggle.

The Cowboys Without Ezekiel Elliott Are Below Average
The Cowboys offense without Ezekiel Elliott the last three games have scored a combined 20 points. Only 20 points in three games is embarrassing. They are 0-3 this season in games where Elliott doesn't play, I think calling them below average is generous considering how bad they have looked the last three weeks.

Dak Prescott Can't Carry The Cowboys
Since Elliott has been suspended Prescott has zero passing touchdowns, five interceptions and hasn't thrown for more than 200 passing yards. Without a solid running game, he is proving that he isn't talented enough to shoulder a team and carry a team to the playoffs. Ezekiel Elliott and a solid offensive line have been able to hide the flaws of Prescott but with Zeke and an average offensive line due to injuries, he is starting to get exposed.
The Cowboys have lost three games in a row and will play the Washington Redskins on Thursday Night Football in Week 13. This will be the Cowboys third game in 12 days.
