The 2017 NFL Draft is complete and the Dallas Cowboys have already landed a few coveted undrafted free agents. NFL teams start trying to sign these UDFAs the second the draft ends, and sometimes even sooner, although all of the moves typically won't officially be announced for a few days.
While most UDFAs end up being little more than camp bodies, there are players that make the 53-man roster each season. The prospects all went undrafted for a reason, but they all have the potential to make it in the NFL in some role. And sometimes, teams strike gold with an Arian Foster or Tony Romo.
We have every player the Cowboys have signed below. We've also included a brief write-up about the more notable additions.
Austin Appleby, QB, Florida
Woody Baron, DT, Virginia Tech
Brian Brown, WR, Richmond
Michael Coe, C, North Dakota
Kennan Gilchrist, LB, Appalachian State
Blake Jarwin, TE, Oklahoma State
Joseph Jones, LB, Northwestern
Levon Myers, OT, Northern Illinois
Lewis Neal, DL, LSU
Cooper Rush, QB, Central Michigan
Dan Skipper, OT, Arkansas
Nate Theaker, OT, Wayne State
Jahad Thomas, RB, Temple
Lucas Wacha, LB, Wyoming

The Cowboys have proven they know what they're doing with UDFAs. While there likely won't be a Tony Romo, or even La'el Collins, in this year's class. However, there are some solid players the Cowboys have added.
Two QBs were signed, which shouldn't be a surprise given the Cowboys lack of depth. At the very least, Dallas need arms to get through the preseason. Of the two, Cooper Rush might be the most likely to actually make it in the NFL. There's some Kellen Moore to him.
The three OTs are also intriguing. I thought both Myers and Skipper could be drafted. Skipper is a massive man, checking in at 6-foot-10. He's not exactly athletic and that might cost him an NFL roster spot. Myers can kick inside as well and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up on the practice squad.
I thought Jarwin would be drafted, given his H-Back qualities. There's a log-jam at TE right now for Dallas, but he could hang around on the practice squad and become future depth. If things break the right way, Jahad Thomas of Temple could become the new Lance Dunbar.
I like both Lewis Neal and Woody Baron, but there might be too many bodies already on the roster on the DL for the Cowboys. Dallas added three linebackers and they'll get a chance to stick via special teams.
