While actual dollar figures haven't been released as of yet, it's likely that the Cowboys have come to some sort of compromise with Bryant and his representation between Dallas' original offer of $10 million per and Bryant's desired salary near Detroit Lions star Calvin Johnson's $16 million-plus benchmark.
The Cowboys must reach an agreement with Bryant on a new long-term contract by 4 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, which means we're likely to get official word on the deal within the next hour or so. While there was intimations from Bryant's representation that he would skip a significant portion of training camp if a deal didn't get done by today, it appears all of that may have been a negotiation tactic as the two sides are set to cross the t's and dot the i's on a new agreement.
Bryant was on his way to meet with members of the Cowboys' front office as of this writing. The 26-year-old Oklahoma State product finished with 88 catches for 1,320 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2014.
