Mind you, this is banishment for Gregory. So like Josh Gordon, Aldon Smith, others, he'll have to apply to Roger Goodell for reinstatement.

Gregory's suspension stems from a failed November drug test, which he appealed and is why the punishment wasn't administered until now. He missed the first 14 games of this season while serving two suspensions, but this means that he will also miss the playoffs this season - along with all of the 2017 season.
Gregory was also suspended for four games during his rookie season after testing positive for marijuana. He has only played in 14 games in his career, but has just 20 total tackles and one sack.
