The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley has not been as impactful this season as he was last year and now there are rumors swirling around that he may be traded before the trade deadline on Tuesday, October 31st at 4:00 pm ET. This season Beasley has 18 receptions for 141 yards and two touchdowns on only 31 targets.

The rumors have started circulating after Beasley left Sundays game against the Washington Redskins and now is in the concussion protocol. In order for Beasley to play, he will need to pass the protocol. He may not miss any time but concussions are hard to predict. If you ask Beasley though, he says he is ok.
I'm ok guys. Thank you.

So why would the Cowboys trade him if he would be healthy? The rookie Ryan Switzer may be the reason. These rumors recently surfaced when the Cowboys were apparently shopping around Beasley. Once Jerry Jones caught wind of these rumors he quickly squashed them by saying it was "absurd".
The exact quote Jones told sideline reporter Kristi Scales was, "Easily that's really absurd, Bease is such a vital part of this team now and in the future that, no, never considered that."
It doesn't look likely that Beasley will be traded but a name that Cowboys will need to keep an eye out for is Switzer.
