Former Ohio State Buckeyes defensive end Joey Bosa is expected to be one of the top two or three players taken in the NFL Draft in April, but the Dallas Cowboys want to be ready in case he drops to them.
In an interview with the NFL Network's Rich Eisen and Mike Mayock, Bosa revealed that he met with several teams at the combine, one of which was the Cowboys.
Dallas holds the No. 4 overall pick in the NFL Draft, and some expect the Cowboys to draft him if he falls that fall. Owner Jerry Jones has publicly expressed his desire to improve their pass rush this offseason, and Bosa would certainly fit that mold.
Bosa was a dominant force at Ohio State, racking up 51 tackles and five sacks in 12 games last season.
