UPDATE HERE: The Cowboys have cut Whitehead, who says he wasn't the one arrested
During an already tumultuous offseason for the Dallas Cowboys, another player has found himself in trouble with the law. WR Lucky Whitehead has an arrest warrant out on him for a previous shoplifting arrest.
TMZ reports that Whitehead was arrested back on June 22nd for shoplifting in June. Whitehead was charged with shoplifting/petit larceny under $200 for stealing items from a connivence store.
Whitehead was supposed to appear in court on July 6th, but failed to do so. He's now been charged with failure to appear and has an arrest warrant out.

Cowboys players have had multiple incidents this offseason. Nolan Carroll was arrested for a DUI, Ezekiel Elliott remains the subject of an on-going NFL investigation and DL David Irving was suspended for PED use.

Whitehead was already on the outside looking in on the roster bubble after the Cowboys drafted WR Ryan Switzer. He has caught just nine passes in his NFL career, but served as the team's return man. But with his latest incident, the Cowboys might elect to cut ties with him.
