Jason Witten isn't going anywhere in the near future. The Dallas Cowboys and their long-time tight end have reached a four-year contract extension that would keep Witten in Dallas until 2021.

His contract was set to expire after this season. However, Ian Rapoport says the move won't actually change much for Witten.

The exact contract details are not available yet, but the Cowboys are known for getting creative with contracts and the salary cap.
Witten will turn 35 in May and has played his entire career with the Cowboys since being drafted in 2003. He's the franchise leader in receptions and will likely become the leader in yards and games played.
