Now that the Dallas Cowboys have waived WR Lucky Whitehead following the strange and false accusation of arrest for shoplifting, the team is looking at other wide receivers to add to the roster. ESPN's Todd Archer reports the Cowboys are bringing in two WRs for workouts: Corey Washington and Marvin Bracy.
Both are relatively unheralded players, though Washington has the most NFL experience. An undrafted free agent out of Newberry in 2014, Washington had bounced around the NFL. He's played for the Cardinals, Giants, Redskins, Lions, Falcons and Bills. Buffalo put him on the practice squad last year, but cut him before the preseason. With the Giants in 2014, Washington caught five passes for 52 yards and a score.
Bracy got a tryout with the Panthers earlier this offseason, but failed to get a contract. There's one main thing he could bring to the Cowboys: Speed. Bracy posted a 9.98 100-meter dash at the U.S. Olympic trials, earning him a spot on the 2016 Summer Olympic team. However, a groin injury prevented him from making the Olympic finals.
Bracy is now back playing football, something he hasn't done since his redshirt freshman season in 2012 at Florida State. The two players are vastly different in size, with Bracy checking in at 5-foot-9, 172-pounds and Washington at 6-foot-4 and 214 pounds.

Both players face an uphill battle to make the final roster if signed. The Cowboys top four WRs are set, with Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley and Ryan Switzer not going anywhere. The fifth (and maybe a sixth) spot features a battle between the likes of Brice Butler, Andy Jones and seventh rounder Noah Brown.
