NFL Free Agency is officially here, and the next few days will feature several Dallas Cowboys rumors. The Cowboys have yet to make any notable moves, but that will likely change at some point. With that in mind, here are a few of the more interesting rumors and news tidbits on the Cowboys.
Update: 5:15 p.m.
Cedric Thornton Signs
The Cowboys have been looking for defensive line help, and they've found it in Cedric Thornton.

Thornton will likely play at DT across from Tyrone Crawford. A run stuffer, Thornton is a big upgrade over Nick Hayden. It's a four-year, $18 million deal for Thornton.
Antonio Cromartie Wants To Play For Dallas?
The Cowboys are in need of CB help, even if the team keeps Brandon Carr. Antonio Cromartie is a free agent and once again expressing his desire to come to Dallas.
@michaelirvin88 I'm ready to come to the Cowboys.
— ANTONIO CROMARTIE (@CRO31) March 10, 2016
This is not the first time Cromartie has expressed interest in Dallas, as he claimed he was the Cowboys' missing piece before signing with the New York Jets last year. Cromartie is coming off a poor season, and would likely have sign cheaply. That assumes the Cowboys have interest in Cromartie.
Chris Long Decision Coming Soon?
Former Rams DE Chris Long has taken a few visits, and could be close to making a decision.
Former Rams DE Chris Long wants to play for a winning team, I'm told he has spoken with Washington, Atlanta, and Dallas. Decision soon.
— Dianna Marie Russini (@diannaESPN) March 10, 2016
The Cowboys fall into that winner category, and the team is need of DE help. Greg Hardy is likely gone, Jeremy Mincey is a free agent and Randy Gregory is suspended for the first four games. Long likely won't be too expensive and has upside as a buy-low candidate.
Cowboys Interested In O'Brien Schofield?
The Cowboys are in need of linebacker depth, and they are rumored to have interest in O'Brien Schofield.
LB O’Brien Schofield told teams that have made preliminary inquiries on him include the #Dolphins, #Cowboys and #Seahawks.
— Josina Anderson (@JosinaAnderson) March 10, 2016
Schofield would be an interesting fit for Dallas, as his playing style closer to Bruce Irvin than Roland McClain. Schofield would likely be a cheap depth option, although he could end up as a spot-starter.
