The 2016 NFL Draft is almost upon us, with the hours ticking down to the first round beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday.
The Dallas Cowboys have a big decision on their hands, as they pretty much have their pick of the litter at No. 4 after Jared Goff and Carson Wentz come off the board at one and two, respectively. The latest buzz has the San Diego Chargers going after OT Ronnie Stanley at No. 3, though it's anyone's guess as to whether that report sticks.
Which brings us to the Cowboys, who are reportedly down to two players at No. 4. There's also a rumor that Dallas might not just be going after one player in Round 1. Here is the latest Cowboys draft day buzz:
Ezekil Elliott or Jalen Ramsey?
According to Ian Rapoport, the Cowboys are deciding between the top running back and cornerback in this year's class:
The #Cowboys are working scenarios, but they sound like they are debating: #OSU RB Zeke Elliott vs. #FSU CB Jalen Ramsey.

The team's biggest need, following the suspensions of DeMarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory, is adding a pass rusher like Joey Bosa, but if it's a debate between these two, the bigger hole is in the team's backfield. With that said, Ramsey's boost to the secondary would help the team's overall defense. The Chargers could make the Cowboys' decision easy if they swoop up Ramsey at No. 3, but chances are that both will be on the board when Dallas is on the clock.
Trading Back Into 1st Round?
If the Cowboys don't elect to take a pass rusher at No. 4, there's a chance they trade back into the first round to draft one of this year's top edge rushers.
Was told Cowboys aggressively looking into having TWO 1st round picks tomorrow night.

Shaq Lawson is a one of the options being bandied about, but Dallas would have to put together a significant package for a player projected to go in the top-half of the first round. If the Cowboys are sold on Elliott, there's a chance they trade down to pluck him in the 5-10 range, leaving them with more later-round picks to play with. There's also the possibility that they float guard Ronald Leary, who just signed his RFA tender with the hope of being moved, according to Adam Schefter.
