In a battle of the rookie QBs, Dak Prescott mounted a fourth quarter comeback to give the Dallas Cowboys a 29-23 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in overtime. Prescott struggled for much of the game, but rallied himself and the Cowboys to pick up a win over their NFC East rival. The Cowboys got the ball to start the overtime period and Prescott hit TE Jason Witten for the game-winning score.

Dak Prescott struggled for much of this one. After six games of impressive play, Prescott finally looked like a fourth round rookie early. He was just 5 of 13 at the half and finished the game 19 of 39 for 287 yards, 2 TDs and a critical interception in the end zone before the half.
However, he did lead the Cowboys on the game-tying drive late in the fourth quarter on a TD pass to Dez Bryant, plus the overtime score. Prescott also added five carries for 37 yards and a score.
Ezekiel Elliott was effective on the ground, racking up 96 yards on 22 carries. But with the Cowboys didn't feed him enough early, in part because the Cowboys were trailing. He added four catches for 52 yards through the air.
Carson Wentz was effective in the short passing game, completing 32 of 43, for 202 yards and a score. Jordan Matthews was his favorite target, catching 8 passes for 49 yards and 1 TD. The Eagles ran the ball just 24 times for 97 yards, instead relying on the arm of their budding, young franchise QB.
The Cowboys visit the winless Cleveland Browns next week. The Eagles visit the New York Giants.
