UPDATE 3:35 p.m. ET Wednesday:
The Cowboys and Zack Martin have agreed to a new 6-year contract that is a record breaker. Per Adam Schefter, Martin is getting a 6-year deal worth $84 million and $40 million guaranteed. The deal makes Martin not just the highest paid OG in the NFL, but the second-highest paid offensive linemen in the NFL.
Original story (from Monday) below:
The Dallas Cowboys are on the verge of extending OG Zack Martin. While the contract details are not yet known, the new deal for Martin will likely make him the highest paid OG in the NFL.
Ian Rapoport reports that the extension is imminent and will at least make Martin one of the top paid OGs in the NFL. Stephen Jones said at the Cowboys' rookie luncheon that a deal should be done soon.
Martin has skipped OTAs as he waited for a new contract. Minicamp starts tomorrow for the Cowboys and it was unclear if Martin was going to attend without a new deal.

Andrew Norwell is the highest paid guard in the NFL after the contract he signed this offseason. It was a 5-year, $66.5 million deal with $30 million guaranteed. If Martin doesn't eclipse that figure, it would be a surprisingly team-friendly deal for the Cowboys.
Now entering his 5th year in the NFL, Martin has yet to miss a Pro Bowl. He's a two-time All-Pro and one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL.
