The Dallas Cowboys are heading to London for a Week 10 showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and it's being reported that injured quarterback Tony Romo is making the trip with them.
Romo has two fractures in the transverse process in his back, causing him to miss Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
In order to ensure that his star quarterback is both comfortable and ready to play against the Jaguars, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is offering his wife's first-class seat on the flight to Romo.
“Some of those seats really make out into a nice cot, bed-type configuration,’’ Jones said, according to the Dallas Morning News. “He will get one of those. Gene will sit up in the bulkhead. Romo will lounge on the way over.
“You don’t think it’d be me, do you?’’
While (one hopes) this is a joke in one respect, the Dallas Cowboys will do everything in their power to get a healthy Romo on the field against the Jaguars at Wembley.
