The Dallas Cowboys feared for the worst when QB Tony Romo took a knee to his surgically-repaired back in the team's 20-17 OT loss to the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football.
Despite Romo leaving in the early third quarter and not returning until very late in the fourth, head coach Jason Garrett is indicating that he suffered just a bruise.

The Cowboys' radio broadcast indicated that early signs pointed to a rib injury for Tony Romo. Romo has had rib issues before, so it might have been case of speculation and crossing-up of sources.
Regardless, Romo returned and played through overtime despite the team falling short against the rival Washington Redskins.
