The Giants made it interesting, but the Cowboys ultimately came out on top in this battle of NFC East rivals.
Turning Point:
Dan Bailey's field goal with just about a minute left effectively sealed this one - the Cowboys had been unable to shake the Giants in a game that nearly went down to the wire.
Key Stat:
DeMarco Murray's 100-yard game gave him an impressive NFL record - no player in NFL history had rushed for 100 or more yards in their first seven games of a season.
Cowboys MVP:
Murray and Tony Romo both deserve recognition, but this one goes to WR Dez Bryant. Bryant's monster second half helped him end up with 151 total yards on 9 catches, and while he didn't snag a touchdown for himself, he played a key part in several Cowboys scores.
Giants MVP:
Eli Manning has been the target of plenty of scorn for uneven play this season, but it's impossible to fault him for this one. Manning finished 21/33 with 248 passing yards, 3 TDs and no interceptions.
What’s Next?
The streaking Cowboys return home for a Monday night game against the Washington Redskins, and the 3-4 Giants have a week off before facing the Indianapolis Colts at home.
