Is this a sign of how great Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray has been or how bad the Atlanta Falcons and Oakland Raiders' rushing attacks have been.
Either way, ESPN's Adam Schefter brought this surprising stat to the public's attention on Sunday night:
From @SportsTaxMan: Cowboys' Demarco Murray has 913 yards rushing this season - 1 more yard than Raiders & Falcons rushing totals combined.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 20, 2014
In fact, per ESPN's website, there are seven other teams you could pair the Raiders' rushing yards with (Jacksonville, Arizona, Denver, Detroit, Carolina, St. Louis, Tampa Bay) and still come up short of DeMarco Murray's blazing start to the 2014 season.
Furthermore, before Sunday night's 49ers/Broncos matchup, Murray was singlehandedly outrushing every NFL team except two - the New York Jets and...his own Dallas Cowboys.
All of this means that you're likely VERY happy if you have DeMarco Murray hanging out on your fantasy team right about now.
