The Dallas Cowboys will use their franchise tag on star wide receiver Dez Bryant (per Cowboys VP Stephen Jones), meaning that the "slow" talks between Dallas and running back DeMarco Murray will likely lead to him hitting free agency on March 10th.
"[Murray] is probably going to, you know, get some peace and see what's out in the market and then we'll talk and see," Jones said, via FOX Sports. "I do believe deep down he'd love to stay in Dallas."

In 2014, Murray broke Emmitt Smith's franchise record for most rushing yards in a season with 1,845. Dallas finished 12-4 and won just their second playoff game since 1997, all with Murray anchoring the team's potent offensive attack.
Jones wants to see that storyline continue in 2015, and believes it will even if Murray hits free agency.
"We've had some really good football players go into free agency: Jay Novacek and Darren Woodson and, you know, they still sign with the Cowboys. So, just because you're a free agent doesn't mean you're not necessarily going to end up back in Dallas."
