The Dallas Cowboys have two marquee free agents they've made a priority in wideout Dez Bryant and running back DeMarco Murray, but they still have several role players they want to bring back.
One of those is linebacker Rolando McClain, who was a key part in an improved Cowboys defender. According to Tim Cowlishaw of the Dallas Morning News, Dallas would like to bring him back, but don't know if they will be able to:
The Cowboys want to sign him although his occasional inability to get on the field or almost ever practice is something of a concern. The interesting thing -- and maybe advantage to Cowboys -- is that they have 3 LBs who are free agents (Carter, McClain, Durant) and a lot of depth at the position with Hitchens, Wilber, Sean Lee in place. They don't have to keep them all but I would say they would like to keep them all but one.
McClain had 81 tackles and two interceptions this past season.
