The Dallas Cowboys have a tough road ahead of them in their quest to return to the NFL Playoffs next season. These are the 5 toughest games standing between the Cowboys and a postseason berth:
5. Washington Redskins (November 24th)
A Thanksgiving Day game against the Redskins is sure to be one of the best matchups of the season, but it's especially difficult considering that there will only be three days between games. Plus, Kirk Cousins had a lot of success against Dallas last year and will be looking to duplicate that.
4. @ Minnesota Vikings (December 1st)
The Cowboys will have a full week of preparation for their second Thursday night game is any many weeks, yet this game will still be extremely difficult. Adrian Peterson has had huge games against Dallas in the past, and this up-and-coming team has their sights set on competing for a Super Bowl.
3. Cincinnati Bengals (October 9th)
The Bengals are a well-oiled machine in the regular season, and A.J. Green should have a field day against Dallas' questionable secondary.
2. @ Pittsburgh Steelers (November 13th)
Pittsburgh a Super Bowl favorite thanks to their explosive offense and young, talented defense, and they'll be at full strength with the return of running back Le'Veon Bell. The Cowboys and Steelers have had some great games in the past, and this should be another close matchup.
1. @ Green Bay Packers (October 16th)
The Cowboys get a crack at redemption against the Packers in their own house, but remember this is Lambeau Field in the dead of winter. A tall task indeed that could turn into a banner win for Dallas.
