The Dallas Cowboys suffered through a disappointing 2017 season, missing the playoffs for the sixth time in eight seasons. They need cap space in order to sign players to fill some of the holes in their roster, which is why several cuts are on the horizon. However, there's also a very real possibility that they trade away some of their big-name players. Here are three players that may be dealt:
1) WR Dez Bryant
Based on his production for the last few years, Bryant is no longer a true No. 1 receiver but is getting paid like one and still shows flashes of being Dez Bryant from time to time. Those flashes are why there is some trade interest in him around the league but Dallas has determined that he simply isn't worth the $16.5 million cap hit each of the next two years. Is there a team with plenty of cap space and a need a position that is willing to gamble on him?
2) CB Orlando Scandrick
Scandrick's time with the Cowboys is pretty much up. Dallas tried to trade him last season and have a litany of young cornerbacks on their roster, it's very unlikely that Scandrick will be on the roster in 2018. He'd be a good veteran presence for a number of young teams that need help in the secondary (Cleveland, again, and Chicago immediately come to mind).

3) WR Cole Beasley
Beasley is an interesting case. Dallas already has his heir apparent in Ryan Switzer and, with his contract set to expire following the season, the Cowboys are unlikely to bring him back for 2019. Throw in the fact that there are a number of receiver-needy teams in the league and there surely is interest for a high-quality slot receiver. Do the Cowboys decide to part with him a year early?
