The Dallas Cowboys have their sights set on Super Bowl this season. They've got a dominant offensive line and a strong offense. The defense does have some holes though. As good as the Cowboys are, they have some players who aren't as good as the perception of them might be. Here are the three most overrated players on the Cowboys.
Darren McFadden
McFadden has talent, but he can't stay healthy. As good as the Cowboys' offensive line is, it's tough to expect much from McFadden given how fragile he is. Joseph Randle is a much better option because he'll stay healthy.
Nick Hayden
Hayden should not be a starting defensive tackle in the NFL. In fact, according to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), there isn't a worse one in the NFL. Tyrone Crawford should have a breakout season at one DT spot, but Dallas needs an upgrade over Hayden at the other.
Brandon Carr
Carr simply hasn't lived up to the big contract Dallas gave him a few seasons ago. Orlando Scandrick has outplayed him by a wide margin. Pro Football Focus ranked him 90th among all corners, which is too low for someone making so much money. Carr can still turn it around, but he needs to do so this season or he might be cut next year.
