BOULDER – Sabrina Iqbal, a former All-Big 12 Conference performer and one of the top 100 amateurs in the world, will join the University of Colorado women's golf team as a graduate transfer for the 2023-24 season, head coach Anne Kelly announced on Wednesday.
A native of San Jose, Calif., Iqbal is a 2022 graduate of Texas Christian where she closed her Horned Frogs career as the program's leader in stroke average at 72.9, birdies with 357 and rounds of par or better with 59. She had a career-low 71.8 stroke average as a senior in 2021-22, earning All-Big 12 honors.
