CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Starting slow has become a nasty trend for the Cleveland Cavaliers at the beginning of the season.
Cavs head coach David Blatt and the players addressed the issue numerous time this past week. But nothing has changed.
On Monday and Wednesday, the Cavs trailed, 32-18, at the end of the first quarter in both games. On Friday, they were down one against the winless 76ers at halftime, 50-49. That's when James Jones gave a passionate speech that fueled a third quarter explosion, as the Cavs (5-1) held off the pesky 76ers.
Chris Haynes, Joe Vardon and I discussed the slow starts and how concerned the Cavs should be about them.
