CLEVELAND, Ohio -- LeBron James was asked earlier this year how many games he planned on playing during the regular season.
This was after his second back injection in a 10-month span and after Cavs head coach David Blatt stated his desire to be cautious with injured players, focusing on the long-term goal of getting into the playoffs healthy and fresh.
James didn't hesitate with his answer.
"Eighty-two," he said. When a reporter followed up asking if that was realistic, James said, "Yeah."
But after taking a knee to his thigh during Friday night's 108-102 win against Philadelphia, that goal is in jeopardy.
