The Cleveland Cavaliers managed to fend off the Philadelphia 76ers Friday night for another win, despite LeBron James’ injury scare late in the game.
In the 4th quarter with about 9 minutes remaining, as LeBron was on fast-break to draw a foul at the rim with 2 surrounding Sixers, he immediately grabbed his leg upon landing awkwardly to the ground.
James took a while to get back up. During his post-game interview, he reported getting “kneed in the quad”, and that “the soreness would probably get even worse Saturday and would need round-the-clock treatment” in anticipation of Sunday’s afternoon match-up against the Indiana Pacers.
