NEW YORK: Mo Williams made his return to the court Saturday when the Cavaliers played at the New York Knicks.
Williams missed a month with a left knee injury that required an injection to heal. Surgery was also an option, but it would have sidelined him for the rest of the season and all of the postseason. He instead chose an injection and rehab in an effort to play.
Williams has been bothered by the knee most of the season and was on a 12-minute limit Saturday. He was needed to play because coach Tyronn Lue rested Kyrie Irving.
