Cavs Weekly: Recapping Last Week & Previewing The Week Ahead

The Cleveland Cavaliers had their six-game winning streak snapped by the Warriors on Christmas Day, and are now on a disappointing two-game losing streak. Let's get you up to speed with the week that was and the week ahead with our Cavs Weekly update:

Last Week:

The Cavs extending their winning streak to six games by beating the New York Knicks at home 91-84, using 24 points from LeBron James. That led to their Christmas Day showdown against the Golden State Warriors, where they just went ice cold from the field, shooting 31.6 percent as a team - including just 16.7 percent from three-point range.

Cleveland wasn't able to put that behind them as they traveled to Portland on December 26, falling 105-76 to the Blazers in one of their worst losses of the year.

What's Next?

Cleveland wraps up their four-game road trip at Phoenix on Monday and then at Denver on Tuesday, after which they'll return home to take on the Orlando Magic on Saturday, Jan. 2.

Injuries:

Cleveland is as healthy as they've been all year as only point guard Kyrie Irving is listed on the injury report. He missed the Cavs' loss to Portland to rest his injured knee, and is listed as day-to-day. Irving made his season debut last week after fracturing his kneecap in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

What They're Saying:

Cleveland Cavaliers' lazy defense leads to worst loss of season and Mo Williams struggling in new role

LeBron James used that word again -- 'rhythm' -- which is sorely missing on the Cavaliers

Stephen Curry has mostly, but not totally, been getting the better of LeBron James lately
