The biggest storyline surrounding the Cleveland Cavaliers - and the entire NBA, for the matter - this offseason is the future of LeBron James and where he will sign in free agency.
If he chooses to leave Cleveland, the Cavs are set for a full rebuild and will also trade Kevin Love before the start of next season, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.
"They start over," Windhorst said of the Cavaliers. "They fully make Kevin Love available. I bet they would look for a first-round pick in that trade. He's on the last year of a deal, so they don't want to take on money."
This certainly isn't the first time Kevin Love's name has been mentioned to trade rumors, as Cleveland reportedly looked to trade him in each of the last two offseasons. However, with the Cavs potentially getting ready for a firesale, Love may actually be on the move this time.
The Lakers have been thought of as the favorite to lure LeBron away from the Cavs. James already owns a home in Los Angeles, which is where he trains in the offseason, and his kids have also been enrolled in school there. He also plans to have a post-playing career in Hollywood, which living in LA would help him get a head start on.
A number of other teams - namely the Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers - are also planning to pursue James on the open market.
LeBron averaged 27.5 points, 9.1 assists, and 8.6 rebounds per game this season.
