The Cleveland Cavs and number one overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins agreed to terms on a multi-year contract on Thursday.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, this would delay any potential trade involving the former Kansas phenom:
Cavaliers signed No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins today. He can't be traded for 30 days.

Wiggins' name has been floated in several trade scenarios that would reportedly land Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love in Cleveland. However, this signing will at least delay that process if the Cavs indeed decide to shop Wiggins in such a deal.
The 19-year-old athletic marvel astounded fans and analysts alike at the 2014 NBA Summer League, providing a glimpse into what he will be able to do when he is a fully-matured NBA basketball player. Wiggins averaged 15.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in Vegas, showcasing raw potential that could blossom with Kyrie Irving and LeBron James by his side.
That's if he's not in Minnesota by the beginning of the 2014-15 NBA season.
