The Cleveland Cavaliers are well aware of former Kansas phenom Andrew Wiggins' value - using the coveted #1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft to land the 19-year-old.
Per Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports, the dollars and cents of his new shoe contract with Adidas makes it clear that corporate America is also very cognizant of what Wiggins brings to the table:
Andrew Wiggins' new Adidas shoe contract is the most for a rookie with the shoe company, a source said.

Spears originally reported the deal as in the "ballpark" of Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard's recent ten-year deal with the company - which would put Wiggins' new contract somewhere in the nine-figure range.
However, Spears deleted the tweet just minutes later - meaning that the specifics of Wiggins' new agreement with Adidas are probably less than set in stone.
Regardless, Wiggins is now the owner of the biggest rookie contract with a shoe company in NBA history - no small feat in a world where shoe deals act as a substantial secondary source of income.
