After building himself an amazing resume' with his work on the international basketball scene, the Cleveland Cavs' David Blatt isn't letting the pressure of being a first-time NBA head coach get to him.
In fact, his laughter and relaxed demeanor has been infectious so far for the returning LeBron James - qualities that the King wants Blatt to keep at the forefront of his personality.
"Well, he shouldn't try to impress no one," James said after day one of training camp, via Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com."People get caught up in in trying to impress people instead of being yourself and who you are and what you stand for. He knows what he stands for. He knows what he's here to do and that's to lead us and for us to win ball games and that's all that should matter."
When asked what the pressure will be like for Blatt having to coach three superstars (LeBron, Kyrie, K-Love) in his first NBA coaching stint, James had some quick wit of his own.
"Or you can have the alternative and not have me, Kevin and Kyrie," James qupped. "So, it's going to be tough no matter what."
