Cleveland and Orlando got out to a closely contested start, but the Cavs were able create some separation and build a 66-57 lead at halftime. Cleveland continued to build on that lead in the second off as they held on for an easy victory.
Turning Point:
The Cavs trailed by two after the first quarter, but started the second quarter with an 11-0 run to gain control they held onto for the rest of the game.
Cleveland MVP:
Kyrie Irving followed his outstanding 57 point performance with a another great game, dropping 33 points. J.R. Smith also had a great game, scoring 25 points while making six three's, and LeBron James put up a double-double with 21 points and 13 assists.
Orlando MVP:
Victor Oladipo did all he could to keep the Magic in this one as he finished with 25 points and seven assists. Nikola Vucevic also pitched in a double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds.
What’s Next?
Cleveland will travel to Miami to face the Heat tomorrow night, while Orlando will travel to face the Houston Rockets on Tuesday.
