This game was never in doubt as the Cavaliers grabbed a 36-17 lead after the first quarter and were able to cruise the rest of the way against a Knicks team that is in full-on tanking mode.
Key Stat:
New York was absolutely abysmal on the offensive end, shooting just 37.4 percent from the field and hitting just three three-pointers on 19 attempts (15.8%).
Cleveland MVP:
Kevin Love posted a HUGE triple double with 16 points and 16 rebounds, but he wasn't the only Cav who had a big day. LeBron James (18 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists) and Kyrie Irving (18 points) also had great performances, and J.R. Smith put up 17 points in his return to Madison Square Garden.
New York MVP:
Langston Galloway continued to show why he's been one of the few bright spots for the Knicks this year, dropping 13 points while grabbing six rebounds and dishing out five assists.
What’s Next?
Cleveland will travel to Detroit to face the Pistons on Tuesday, while the Knicks will take on the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
