The Cleveland Cavaliers took an early lead in the opening minutes in front of their home crowd, but Golden State's offense caught fire as they took a 28-15 lead after the first quarter. LeBron James led the Cavs back into it as they were able to cut into the Warriors' lead in the second, but they still trail at the break.
Biggest Surprise:
The Cavaliers were able to limit the Warriors to just four fast break points in the opening 24 minutes, but they still trail because of their 13 turnovers.
Cleveland Key Player:
LeBron James continues to do what LeBron James does, dropping 15 points while grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out three assists in the first half. Timofey Mozgov has also played well after essentially being benched in Game 5, recording seven points, nine rebounds, and three blocks.
Golden State Key Player:
Stephen Curry has carried the momentum from this outstanding Game 5, recording 11 points and five assists so far in this one. Andre Iguodala also came to play, scoring 10 points while playing excellent defense on LeBron.
Who Has The Edge?
The Warriors. Even though Cleveland is at home and is still close despite their turnovers, Golden State has controlled the tempo for most of the game and should wear the Cavs out by the fourth quarter.
