In another look into the Cleveland Cavs for today, one NBA insider has been told that there is a solid likelihood that Cavs general manager David Griffin will remain with the team going into next season.
Per Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio, the general attitude of the organization is that Griffin will be retained in the general manager role going forward:
While nothing etched in stone and Dan Gilbert hasn't addressed it, am told the "feel inside" organization is David Griffin will be #Cavs GM.

The Detroit Pistons have been rumored to have interest in Griffin for their vacant general manager position. However, the Cleveland Cavs may be the prohibitive favorite to retain his services.
Griffin was given the acting general manager role for the Cavs after former GM Chris Grant was fired in early February.
The Cavs' vice president of basketball operations traded for former Philadelphia 76ers big man Spencer Hawes in his one signature move so far in his two months in the position.
