In today's look into Cavs rumors and news, the Cleveland Cavs have been discussing a potential trade with the Utah Jazz which would net them a top-five pick in next week's draft and Utah forward Derrick Favors for Cleveland's first overall selection.
Spencer Checketts of 1280 The Zone in Salt Lake confirmed Utah's interest in this swap via Twitter on Friday afternoon:
Can confirm Jazz offered #5 and Favors to Cleveland for #1 pick. But source says target is Andrew Wiggins, not Jabari Parker.

While the Utah Jazz would net one of the draft's most coveted players in Wiggins, Cleveland would remain in the top-five of the most loaded classes in NBA Draft history in this scenario and would pick up arguably the Jazz's best player in Favors.
In his fourth NBA season (all with the Jazz), Favors shot 52.2% from the field while averaging a career-high 13.3 points in just over 30 minutes per game for a struggling Utah offense.
Favors also grabbed a career-best 8.7 rebounds per contest, and at just 22-years-old, projects to average close to a double-double throughout the prime of his career.
There is no word yet on if these talks are remotely close to fruition, or if this is just another loaded rumor in what will be a week full of them leading up to the draft.
