The Cleveland Cavaliers have clinched the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs, giving the Cavs the opportunity to rest some of their players.
Head coach David Blatt plans to take advantage of that as ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reports that LeBron James “hinted” he may take the next two games off.
While that won't affect Cleveland's playoff positioning, they do face the Boston Celtics in each of the next two games, and they're fighting for one of the final two playoff spots in the East.
Boston is currently No. 7 in the conference, and winning both games would go a long way in securing that seed for the Celtics. If they do clinch the No. 7 seed, they will face the Cavs in the first round of the playoffs.
