Update: Cleveland's ABC Affiliate is reporting that the meeting took place between Gilbert and James' agent, Rich Paul - James was not present personally.
LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul, reportedly met with Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert this week, and the two sides have "mended fences" and discussed free agency.
Sources tell me the fences have been mended between @KingJames & @cavsdan as the 2 sides have met to discuss free agency. #cavs

This adds another twist to additional reports that LeBron could be closer to a Miami exit than previously thought. While Cavs fans shouldn't get their hopes up just yet, this is a very positive piece of news that can only bode well for the franchise (and their ability to lure top talent to Cleveland) moving forward.
