Cavs News: Kyrie Irving, LeBron James to represent Cleveland in 2015 NBA All-Star Game

The Cleveland Cavs have had an up-and-down start to the 2014-15 NBA season, but they'll still be well-represented at the 2015 NBA All-Star Game in New York on February 15th.

While Kevin Love will not be making the trip to the Big Apple, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving will, with the Thursday announcement that Irving has been named as an Eastern Conference reserve, joining James who was voted in as a starter.

Head coach David Blatt is proud of James and Irving for their accomplishments, but also thinks a case could be made for Kevin Love having stretched his All-Star streak to three consecutive years.

"Yes, I think so," Blatt said, via Cleveland.com. "Kevin from his position is averaging a double double while sacrificing some of his own individual game to help the team win and be successful. So yeah, you can certainly make a case for that. Absolutely."

This marks Irving's third-straight All-Star appearance and James' 11th-straight overall.
