Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James tweeted that people shouldn’t worry so much about “fitting out” and instead should try to “fit in” and be part of something special over the weekend, and many thought he was indirectly talking to teammate Kevin Love because of comments Love made in the preseason about being encouraged to "fit out" and be himself.
James even said “it’s not a coincidence” about the similarity between his tweet and Love's remarks, and then blamed the media on Monday for indicating there's a feud with him and Love.
“I’m not sugarcoating or hiding behind it,” James said. “I gotta seem him every day, so if I have something to say to him, I’ll say it to his face. The rest of the guys, too. … I would hope they would come to me as well.”
“I was caught off-guard when I heard about it,” Love said. .”We’re teammates, we see each other, there’s no problem with us. I don’t know. I truly feel if LeBron had a problem with me or had to talk to me for good or worse, he would’ve come up and talked to me. I truly believe that.”
